These general conditions will be applicable by NAU TECH – Beyond Watersports, SL. (hereinafter Nau·Tech), with CIF B70720412, registered office at Avda. 317 nº24, 08860 Castelldefels (Barcelona) and any person who makes a purchase through the website nau.tech
Applicable legal regulation
Access to Nau·Tech is entirely voluntary and confers the status of User on the person who does so.
These General Terms and Conditions of Contract are subject to the provisions of Spanish law, which will be applied by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, which approves the Revised Text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, Law 44/2006 of 29 December on the improvement of consumer and user protection, as well as any other regulations that replace, complement or modify the above, insofar as they may be applicable.
Nau·Tech reserves the right to modify, without prior notice, the content of the Legal Conditions, so it recommends that the user read said Conditions each time they access the site. At any time, Nau·Tech reserves the right to, without prior notice, deny access to this site to those users who fail to comply with any of these General Conditions of Use or any specific conditions that apply to them.
Use of the website
These General Conditions of Use regulate the access and use of Nau·Tech, with the sole purpose of guiding and facilitating the user to enjoy the services offered.
The user undertakes to make diligent use of it and of the services accessible from Nau·Tech in full compliance with the Law, good customs and these General Conditions of Use.
In general, the provision of services does not require prior subscription or registration of users. However, Nau·Tech conditions the use of some of the services to the prior completion of the corresponding User registration.
To register on nau.tech it is mandatory to fill in the fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the registration form. The use of the account and its password is personal and non-transferable, and its transfer, even temporarily, to third parties is not permitted. It is the responsibility of the User to take the necessary measures to safeguard the selected password, preventing its use by third parties. In the event that the User suspects or knows that his/her password has been used by third parties, he/she must inform Nau·Tech of this as soon as possible.
All information provided by the User through the services must be accurate and truthful. Any updates to such data will be the User’s responsibility. The User will be solely responsible for any inaccuracy or falsity of the data provided.
By filling out the form and clicking on create an account, the User declares that he/she has read and accepted the Legal Conditions of Nau·Tech.
By inserting information and/or images into the Nau·Tech portal, the User declares himself/herself to be the legitimate owner of the intellectual and industrial property rights of the content for reproduction, distribution and public communication through any of the existing electronic media, without time or space limits. With this, the User declares that he/she has sufficient rights to insert the information and/or images into the portal.
The insertion of material that is presumed to be illegal under national, community or international regulations, that does not meet the minimum quality parameters, that violates the fundamental rights of people, obscene material and in general that contravenes the principles of legality and honesty is prohibited.
The User authorizes Nau·Tech to distribute and/or modify the content that has been provided. Nau·Tech is not obliged to control the use that users make of the service, and it is not guaranteed that users use it in accordance with the provisions of the Conditions.
Rental conditions
The owner of the rental vehicle must read and accept these terms and conditions of use, be over 18 years of age and will be responsible for the rental vehicle.
The rental vehicles will be collected at the Nau·Tech facilities (Moll de Llevant s/n Interior, Port de Sitges – Aiguadolç) and must be returned to the same pick-up location, or in another prior agreement between the parties.
The rental vehicle may only be used by the persons designated by the client at the time of formalising the contract.
The rental vehicle will be received by the renter in a working order, maintained and without any deficiencies, except for any observations made upon receipt of the vehicle in the rental contract itself. If any deficiencies are found in the rental vehicle, it is the renter’s obligation to notify the rental office.
The renter is obliged to be careful and take the necessary precautions to protect the rented equipment. The client is obliged at all times to secure the vehicles properly when they are not in sight. In any case, it is recommended to keep them with them whenever possible. Any type of damage or theft during the rental period will be borne solely by the client and he/she will immediately assume all the replacement costs incurred at market price. In the event of theft, the client must immediately notify the police and file a report stating the facts.
At the end of the rental period, a Nau·Tech representative will determine the conditions of delivery of the rented material and will assess, if necessary, the losses or damages incurred.
Civil liability and limitations
As a renter, you can apply civil coverage insurance, but the client is responsible for being insured with adequate coverage against risks that may arise during the rental period. Nau·Tech will not be responsible for claims for accidents, blows, injuries or damage caused to themselves or third parties.
It is strictly forbidden to drive negligently, under the influence of alcohol or substances that alter the state of consciousness and/or in states of drowsiness or fatigue that endanger your own integrity, the vehicle or third parties.
The traffic regulations legislated in the area where the vehicles are rented will be detailed by the Nau·Tech staff before providing the rental. The client and companions assume all responsibility for driving in compliance with traffic regulations.
The driver is not authorized to drive in areas, terrain or roads that, due to obstacles or relief and quality of the road surface, put the integrity of the vehicle, its wheels or any of its components at risk.
It is prohibited to use the rented vehicles to push or tow other vehicles or trailers, or in sports events or training of any kind.
The lessee is prohibited from transferring, subleasing, renting, mortgaging, pledging, selling or in any way giving the vehicle or the rental contract as collateral.
Payment methods, security deposit and reservations
The online payment method will be by credit card, debit card or other.
In some cases the renter has to make a prepayment of between €20 and €50 for each reservation made on the website, the remaining amount of the rental will be paid at our facilities. In other cases, a part of the total must be paid and in others the entire reservation must be paid.
Additionally, on the day of the activity it will be necessary to leave a security deposit in cash or by credit card, this amount will be fully refunded when the vehicle is returned in the same conditions.
The renter will be obliged to pay the Lessor the amounts mentioned below, which the Lessor has informed the renter of and are included in this contract:
Reservations can be made through the Nau·Tech website, or by presenting yourself at the rental premises (Moll de Llevant s/n Interior, Port de Sitges – Aiguadolç).
These reservations can be modified 48 hours in advance, for which the tenant will be charged an amount corresponding to the rate in force at the time of the change.
Cancellations and refunds
Nau·Tech reserves the right to accept or reject a reservation request for any reason, including, but not limited to, the availability of a reservation, an error in the price or in the description or image of the service, or for any error in the reservation.
A reservation can be postponed by giving 48 hours’ notice before the start of the rental. In the case of cancellation, Nau·Tech will not refund the advance payment for each reservation already paid on the website; the client may retain this reservation amount for a future reservation.
In promotions and offers, there will be no option to cancel or change the date under any circumstances. Only Nau·Tech staff reserves the right to cancel due to weather and sea conditions.
In the event of not showing up at the agreed time, the lessor will also retain the advance payment for the reservation made on the website. The impossibility of attending the contracted service or an error when making the purchase will not be valid reasons for proceeding with the refund. Excluded from this case are those arising from an error attributable to Nau·Tech or in cases of force majeure, especially meteorological causes that prevent the service from being carried out.
If the holder does not redeem a one-day voucher with the date of the indicated activity, it will be considered expired and cannot be redeemed. In this case, the holder will not be entitled, under any circumstances, to a refund of the amount paid.
Nau·Tech Assistance
In the event of any type of breakdown during the rental period, the contract holder must contact Nau Tech customer service. We will always try to proceed as quickly as possible to resolve any incident. We have an assistance service for sea routes on jet skis.

By accepting these conditions, the user acknowledges and accepts that Nau·Tech is not responsible for any damages that may arise from, by way of example and not limitation:
Data protection policy
The Landlord informs you that as a tenant you give your express consent for your personal data to be included in a file with restricted access by company personnel in order to facilitate development, in compliance with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data.
Depending on the contract, the Landlord may need to share your data with third parties in order to facilitate the development, control and fulfillment of the contractual relationships maintained.
In the case of commercial communications via email or equivalent channel, and in accordance with the provisions of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, the tenant gives his express consent for the sending of advertising through said means. This consent may be revoked at any time by sending a request to the email address contact@nau.tech
Nau·Tech reserves the right to communicate the tenant’s data to information files on financial solvency and credit, in accordance with the provisions of current data protection regulations, if the tenant incurs any type of non-payment due to the contracted rental services and after an unsatisfactory payment request from the landlord.
